DeleteThank You FilmMaster! I hoped to guess better but I should improve next year. Thanks for the thumbs up! It is always a pleasure to know when we are appreciated! I am actually blushing!
DeleteSometimes it's tough to separate your favorite from what the general Academy will pick. Even though I thought it was lacking as an overall movie, The Tree of Life was very beautifully shot and I thought it was easily going to win Best Cinematography. I was wrong. The Academy wanted to reward Hugo with what awards they could because they knew it wouldn't win any of the big ones. (For the record, I loved Hugo, so I don't have a problem with this, other than I didn't predict it, so I got a bunch of picks wrong.)
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to watch Hugo! I find it very difficult to be objective when I'm trying to predict the potential winners...
