Easy Riders, Raging Bulls by Peter Biskind.
This book about the industry of Hollywood Cinema during the 70's (one of my favourite decade in Cinema history) is a witness of the exceses and the succeses of the filmakers of that time. This essay is interesting and it has many citations from the main people who lived and work in those years. I recommend it with great admiration for Peter Biskind. I'm already looking forward to read his analysis on the films of the 50's titled Seeing Is Believing: How Hollywood Taught Us to Stop Worrying and Love the Fifties.
Ce livre à propos du Cinéma Hollywoodien des années 70 (qui en passant est l'une de mes décennies préférées) est un fort témoin des succès et des excès qui ont marqué les producteurs et les réalisateurs de l'époque. Il est très intéressant en plus d'être bourré de citations des personnes qui ont vécues et travaillées dans cette décennie. Je recommande cet ouvrage avec un grand enthousiasme et une grande admiration pour son auteur; Peter Biskind. J'ai déjà hâte de me pencher sur son ouvrage traitant des années 50 intitulé Seeing Is Believing: How Hollywood Taught Us to Stop Worrying and Love the Fifties.
